Changing of the Guard Walking Tour

The Hunt for the King's Lost Jewels - Treasure Hunt

Rock and Roll Through London

The Changing of the Guard is coming back and oh how we have missed it!

Join us on a walk through central London's Royal neighbourhood and let us guide you through this military ceremony, which sees The Queen's Guard hands over responsibility for protecting Buckingham Palace and St. James's Palace to the New Guard.

You'll hear stories about the Royal family over the years, have an encounter with possibly the most beloved King and Queen in our history and, of course, march alongside the soldiers up The Mall.

The tour will start at 10am and last for around 2 hours.

Tickets are £12pp

*Please note: If it is wet weather, the Guard Change is sometimes cancelled. If this is the case we will watch the Changing The Life Guard Ceremony (the soldiers on horseback) instead.

This summer join Miss Magpie Tours for a brand new educational treasure hunt around the beautiful town of Greenwich. This hunt will have you chasing a pesky pirate who has made off with some of the Kings most precious belongings and, by mixing together the wonders of technology with the fun of discovering an area in real life, you'll experience Greenwich like never before.

All you need is a working camera phone with 4G connection.

Suitable for families or groups with children aged 6-11

Tickets: £15pp OR £12pp for groups of 4 or more

Join musician and guide Pete on a walk through some of London's Rock history.

Drool over some tasty guitars sold in the iconic music shops of Tin Pan Alley, see the last place Jimi Hendrix played in public, and stand in the street where The Beatles could have been heard playing live on the rooftop.

This walking tour will delight music fans and show you a different side to London's story.

This tour will start at 2pm and last for around 1hr 30.

Tickets are £12pp

Meet The Team

Charlotte Thurlow

Hi there, I'm Charlotte, the founder of Miss Magpie Tours.

I love my city and would describe myself as a proper Londoner, born and raised here but with mixed heritage.

I have been a tour guide for 11 years and am also a qualified London Blue Badge Tourist Guide.

I specialise in tours of Greenwich but as a Blue Badge I am also able to guide you inside places like The Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and St Pauls Cathedral - Blue Badge Guides are the ONLY external guides that are allowed to do this.

Pete House

Hi, i'm Pete.

I'm a native Londoner and my family have lived in this city for 500+ years. Having said that I would say i'm fairly well travelled and have an abiding interest in history and culture. I specialise in art tours, music tours and tours of the east end of London.
